ABOUT FOSTER/SMITH MARKETING

​Hi there, thank you for visiting my website.  My name is Dylan Foster-Smith, and I am a freelance web designer based in Charlotte, NC.  ​

​My start towards this path of freelancing began while studying marketing & entrepreneurship in university.  To make a long story short, I started the entrepreneurship club as a sophomore, which ended up being a pivotal decision in my entrepreneurial career.  Driven [potential] entrepreneurs surrounded me, and our club began hosting successful entrepreneurs at our university.

The interactions I made then and the connections I still maintain to this day continue to be a driving force towards success.

After university,  I tested out the startup scene in Chicago.  But just four months into the job, I was feeling unfulfilled and started to teach myself how to code.  Within a year, I made a tough decision to leave Chicago, where so many friends and my family lived. ​​

I have made Charlotte, NC my home over the past five years.  From here, I have worked on remote projects for individuals, organizations, universities, corporations, and small businesses around the United States and across the globe.   

My goal is to provide clarity of the website and digital marketing world for my clients.  I believe everyone deserves access to a reliable resource on these topics without having to educate themselves.
